We did have a great time at Boyne. We went with my sister Rhonda and Dan and Lexi to hang out, do kid projects in the clubhouse, drink hot chocolate, hot tub, and swim at Avalanche Bay indoor water park. This year only the guys went skiing, next year (we'd love to make this happen again next year) I think the girls will have to ski too.
Our girls do not have cable television at home here, so at the resort their favorite discovery was ANIMAL PLANET. It really shouldn't surprise us because our girls are all about animals, but they were FASCINATED by it!
Summer loved Avalanche Bay. She is at a great age for a water park like that. Her ride to remember was the "toilet bowl". On a tube you go down the slide to a big circle thing that resembles a toilet bowl and you go round and round, then through the little hole at the bottom...very INTERESTING and very FUN!
Stephanie loved the hot tub in the resort and in Avalanche Bay. She kept walking across them on her tip-toes with only her nose and eyes above the water. Hours of good times!
Savana loved the steps anywhere we went. Up and down. Then, up and down and up and down. That is the way it went. Oh, the life of an 18 month old. Our favorite part of her on this trip were her CHUNKY thighs. Wow, does she have some legs!
Lexi, our niece who is now 9 months old, loved the baby fountains at Avalanche Bay. It was her spot. She sure is cute!
